At Killester Park ETNS, we want every child who comes through our doors to feel known, valued and that they truly belong. We are incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated and caring staff team who take the time to know our children well – their strengths, their interests, their personalities and their individual needs. The relationships built between our children, staff and families are at the heart of our school and help to create the warm, welcoming and inclusive community of which we are so proud.
As an Educate Together school, we are fully committed to the Educate Together ethos and to providing an education that is equality-based, child-centred, co-educational and democratically run. We celebrate the diversity of our school community and want every child and family to feel represented, respected and included. We teach the Primary Curriculum set by the Department of Education and Youth and the Learn Together Curriculum, Educate Together’s ethical education curriculum. Through Learn Together, children explore equality, values, belief systems, ethics and social justice, while developing respect for themselves, others and the diverse world around them.
We have high expectations and high standards for every pupil. We endeavour to support all children to reach their full potential, and we are committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning that challenges, supports and inspires our pupils. We want our children to develop strong foundations in their learning while also becoming confident, curious and independent learners who take pride in themselves and their achievements.
